Unsloppy AI respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on Unsloppy AI infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material to be removed, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its former location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number.
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.
4. Process
- Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified content.
- We will notify the content creator and provide them an opportunity to file a counter-notice.
- If a valid counter-notice is received, we will restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
5. Repeat Infringers
Unsloppy AI terminates accounts of users found to be repeat copyright infringers, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(i). We track validated DMCA takedowns per account: a third validated takedown within any rolling twelve-month period results in permanent termination of the account and forfeiture of any unused Ink balance.
6. Good Faith
Please note that filing a false DMCA notice may result in legal liability. Consider whether the use constitutes fair use before submitting a notice.
